2018 - 2019 General Membership Information
Membership in FBLA is open to any student attending Plymouth High School. You do not need to be in a business class, nor do you need to be considering business as a career goal to participate. All are welcome.
FBLA's main focused can be narrowed down to three areas: Service, Education (leadership), and Progress (competitive events). Community Service is something that we strive for. The March of Dimes (MOD) is the National FBLA charity of choice, so we will complete service events to promote MOD. At a local level, we do service projects for a variety of Plymouth area organizations. Leadership is key in FBLA. Students have the opportunity to attend leadership conferences at a regional and state level to develop and enhance their leadership skills. Those skills are then applied on a variety of projects within the local chapter. Competitive events round our the focus of FBLA. FBLA offers over 60 business related competitive events for students to participate in. These events range from objective test to speeches and presentations. There is an event for everyone in FBLA. See Mr. Williams or Mrs. Winkel for more information about competitive events.
For more information about the Plymouth High School FBLA chapter, please see Mr. Williams (B117) or Mrs. Winkel (B121).
